ND, First-Year Resident
Dawna Sweeney, ND, is a first-year resident and clinic supervisor at Bastyr University Clinic.
Dr. Sweeney's healing philosophy is to respect and assist the body's own innate ability to heal itself. She prefers to use gentle interventions, such as homeopathy and craniosacral therapy, to stimulate this healing power, yet knows when to use stronger interventions to meet the patient where they are at and guide them back to healthier habits.
Her professional affiliations include the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians (AANP), the Naturopathic Medicine Institute (NMI) and the International College of Applied Kinesiology (ICAK).
- Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine from Bastyr University
- MS in Molecular Biology from California State University East Bay
- BS in Molecular Biology from the University of California San Diego
Dr. Sweeney enjoys physical medicine, especially craniosacral therapy, and is interested in the interplay between anxiety and digestive complaints.
