I graduated with my PhD in Counseling Psychology from the University of Iowa in 2020. I am a licensed clinical psychologist in WA. Throughout my training, I got opportunities to work in a wide variety of settings, including university counseling centers, community mental health centers, behavioral health (outpatient and inpatient units) in hospitals, and private practice. During my leisure time, I enjoy cooking, reading, hiking, kayaking, and playing board games with friends and family. I also enjoy traveling to different parts of the world and immerse myself in local cultures and traditions.

I work from a social justice, anti-racist, and feminist lens. I believe everyone brings a unique history, heritage, and life stories into therapy sessions and I am responsive and respectful to clients' cultures in all treatments I provide. Expertise areas: Internationals, Immigrants, and Refugees’ mental health, Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islanders’ (AANHPI) mental health, cultural adjustment and acculturation process, impacts on -isms in individual, group, institution, and larger sociopolitical contexts, internalized oppression, gender and sexual identity, family of origin, etc.
