Dr. Basanti is a licensed mental health counselor in WA state and a post doctorate fellow at OpenWorld Psychology.
She currently supervises student clinicians on team care counseling shifts at BCNH.
Dr. Basanti is a licensed mental health counselor in WA state and a post doctorate fellow at OpenWorld Psychology. She has been a mental health counselor for almost ten years. Dr. Basanti has experience working with a diverse population in both outpatient and inpatient settings. Dr. Basanti has extensive experience in providing trauma-focused therapeutic interventions. Part of her experience also includes working with neurodivergent individuals. She has worked with this population for two years and is finishing her post doctoral experience in a program focused on autism evaluation and treatment. Dr. Basanti also has extensive experience of working with survivors of childhood sexual trauma, victims of CSAM and human trafficking. She is trained in EMDR, IFS, TF-CBT, DBT, and ACT and her work includes a focus on generational trauma and generational healing in marginalized communities.
