Rachel Boone, ND (she/her) is a primary care clinician in Practitioner Care, who specializes in cardiovascular disease and diabetes. She is a guest lecturer and conference presenter on these topics and substitutes as a supervisor to student clinicians in the teaching clinic.
Dr. Boone completed a two-year residency at the Bastyr Center for Natural Health, which included a year-long rotation at HealthPoint Community Health Clinic. She has also worked as a research consultant for the University of Connecticut School of Nursing and previously served as a program manager for a health scholar program based out of Providence Swedish Medical Center in Seattle, WA.
Dr. Boone is passionate about empowering patients with actionable, evidence-based information so they can improve their health. Through a patient-centered approach, she emphasizes shared decision-making to integrate patient values with the latest medical literature.
