Kory DeAngelo
MS, RDN, CD
Kory DeAngelo is the director of the Masters of Science in Nutrition - Didactic Program in Dietetics (MSN-DPD) at Bastyr University, an assistant professor, and the nutrition clinic coordinator for the Bastyr Center for Natural Health. She is a clinical nutrition supervisor in the nutrition department at BCNH and has a private practice in Seattle.
"I strive to help clients make sustainable changes over time that feel realistic and enjoyable. I use a primarily whole foods nutrition approach along with the other foundations of health including stress management, sleep, joy, movement, and spiritual health."
Kory is an integrative registered dietitian nutritionist and teaches graduate courses in clinical nutrition assessment and therapy, therapeutic culinary nutrition, nutrition counseling, and introduction to dietetics. She has previously worked in the hospital setting as a clinical RDN and in the culinary nutrition setting as a cooking instructor for various groups. Her clinical interests are varied and she primarily approaches nutrition counseling through a mindfulness-based, compassionate approach. Additionally, Kory is the Past Chair of Dietitians in Integrative and Functional Medicine (DIFM) DPG.
