Kate Ueland
MS, RDN, CSO
Kate teaches at the Kenmore campus in the Department of Nutrition and Exercise Science and substitutes as a clinical supervisor in the nutrition department at BCNH. She also works per diem as a clinical dietitian at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center and sees patients in private practice.
"My goal is to provide patient-centered, evidence-based care and strive to meet people where they are in their journey towards health. I strive to balance people's lives while supporting lasting behavior changes to reach their lifestyle goals."
Kate is committed to challenging, inspiring, and pushing the boundaries of what students think they are capable of. She hopes to inspire students to become leaders in their fields and be agents of change in the world. She is a board-certified specialist in oncology nutrition, and her clinical interests are in oncology and sports nutrition. She works in private practice, providing evidence-based recommendations to clients interested in making lasting behavior changes toward reducing the risk of chronic disease.
