Dr. Rouhani is a clinician at the Bastyr University Clinic and a core faculty member at Bastyr University San Diego, teaching physical medicine and basic sciences.
Dr. Rouhani believes that you and he can achieve your health goals through a mutual partnership. “Patients don’t like to be pushed or rushed to do something by their medical doctor. It’s much better when I listen to you and we work together as a team on your health.”
Dr. Rouhani utilizes all modalities of naturopathic medicine including herbal medicine, homeopathy, physical medicine, clinical nutrition, traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), and hydrotherapy, among others.
Dr. Rouhani has his BS and his MS in biomedical engineering from Arizona State University. He received his doctor of Naturopathic Medicine from Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine in 2005. In 2013, he received his doctor of Chiropractic from University of Western States in Portland, Oregon.
Dr. Rouhani has extensive training in sports medicine, injectable therapies (intravenous therapy, heavy metal chelation, prolotherapy, mesotherapy/nonsurgical cosmetic medicine), and resolving chronic pain conditions. He has helped many professional athletes in the NFL (National Football League) and NHL (National Hockey League) reach their peak performance through his integrative approach to medicine.
